Born a week after her due date while James was at vacation Bible school at Shiloh. A strong 8 lbs 9 oz with a head of dark hair (which she mostly lost over the successive months). A content, happy little girl who was usually glad to be along in tow (although she started screaming on roadtrips when we went to Indiana). Adored by all her siblings, especially Sadie who called her “Biolet” or “Biley”. Crawled around the house from Februrary to June, usually with a toy hanging out of her mouth.

Once she started crawling, she frequently had something hanging out of her mouth as she moved around.
Not sure where she learned this trick, but she loved to show it off.
Frequently accompanied dad and mom on dates (including Angust Barn)
Baptism by Pastor Holst
Snuggling with dad as he recovered from disc surgery.
We went to the beach for a day just before she turned on, and she was a huge fan.
There were a few months in Fall 2023 where those two figers were always in her mouth.
Pal-ing around with Sadie as their friendship burgeoned.
Violet was thrilled to start crawling and would explore the whole house.
